Delphi Common Rail Diesel Injectors
We offer a full test & repair service for all Delphi injectors. As a Delphi approved repairer, we are able to check injectors against their factory calibration code and where required generate new codes (eg following overhaul). Popular applicators of Delphi injectors are the Ford Mondeo & Transit 2.0 TDCI, Focus & Transit Connect 1.8 TDCI, Peugeot / Citroen 1.4 HDi and Renault / Nissan 1.5 dci
Calibration Code (C2i Code)
All Delphi injectors are marked with a 16 digit code that provides the vehicles ECU with the flow characteristics of each injector. The injector codes are programmed into the ECU with reference to their cylinder number. When injectors are refitted it is necessary to recode them into the ECU (or if the codes have not changed, refit them in the same cylinders) to avoid running problems.
Our diagnostic equipment allows us to reprogram vehicles with coded fuel injectors (both Bosch & Delphi). We provide this service free of charge at our workshop for customers that have injectors serviced with us.
Siemens Continental & Denso Common Rail Diesel Injectors
We have test facilities for both Siemens Continental & most Denso fuel injectors. Currently, repair programmes for these injectors have not yet been established by the manufacturers, but for popular applications replacement parts are becoming available (particularly Siemens) and these allow us to repair injectors for significantly less than the cost of new ones. |
